It is with great sadness that we announce that Christy Ray Sparks, 68, of Houston, TX, passed away on March 6th, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on December 24th, 1957, in Houston, Texas.

He was best known as Chris or Sparky to his family and friends. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends.

Chris was passionate about many things, including his work as a salesman in the plastics business for 40 years, his motorcycle, the Dallas Cowboys, his mustang and Elvis Presley music. He loved his son and granddaughter with all his heart.

He is survived by his son, Travis. His granddaughter, Victoria and many family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith, Father, Raymond and his wife Nancy.

My father was loved very much and I loved him dearly. Even though he was suffering, I was torn between more time with him and my father at peace. Be at peace father.

A celebration of life service is being planned for the near future.
