Obituary

Dawson was a man of discipline, Loyalty, and strength, but those who knew him best will remember him most for his kind and generous heart. He lived a life guided by faith, dedication, and love for those around him.

A proud Army veteran who served as a Combat Medic, Dawson carried a spirit of service throughout his life. He was passionate about fitness and enjoyed spending time in the gym, playing basketball, and practicing martial arts.

These pursuits reflected the determination and resilience that defined him.

His faith was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength and purpose through every season.

Dawson was preceded in death by his parents and one sibling. He is survived by his beloved life partner, Doriana Heady, who shared many years of love, compassion, and life's journey by his side. He is also survived by his three children & spouses (grandchildren): Adina & Ruben Mortera (Raeann, Danyelle, Dakota, and Ariana), Uriah D. Barrett, and Sarah E. Barrett, two siblings, and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory and carry his legacy forward.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in remembering the man he was

—a devoted father, loyal partner, faithful friend, and a source of strength to those who loved him. His memory will live on in the lives he touched.

Funeral services will be held on June 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

We take comfort in knowing you are at peace and in God's embrace. Your legacy of faith, strength, and love will continue to guide us.
