Edward Jordan Sidney was born on November 7, 1997, in Houston, Texas, to Rickey Ardell Sidney and Cynthia Ann Sidney. He passed away on September 9, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Edward attended Willowridge High School, where he participated in JROTC and the Marching Band. After high school, Edward enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served for two years. Following an injury, he was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. Edward continued his education and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from American InterContinental University.
At a young age, Edward accepted the Lord as his Savior. He was a member of South Park Baptist Church. He later joined Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. He recently joined his family church, One Houston Church, where he attended worship services. His faith and connection with his church family were meaningful parts of his life.
Edward was preceded in death by his father, Rickey Ardell Sidney; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney; his grandmother, Patricia Stevenson; and his uncle, Gary Sidney.
Edward leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son, Zaidence Sidney, and his loving mother, Cynthia Ann Sidney. He also leaves behind a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, friends, and many brothers and sisters in Christ.

His book, entitled The Blueprint From Bruises, reflects his desire to share his experiences, creativity, and words with others. Edward will be remembered for his creativity, his love for his family, his service to his country, and the many lives he touched along the way.
