Hannah Cooley Benson, born on November 16, 2019, departed from this world on November 28, 2025. Although her time with us was brief, Hannah touched the lives of many with her joyous spirit and radiant smile.
Hannah is survived by her loving parents, Steven Andre Benson and Princess Bianca Fisher Benson, who cherished every moment with their precious daughter. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a multitude of family members who adored her. Her extended family includes her aunt Trashell Mitchell; uncle Dwayne Miller; cousins Jahira Miller, Journey Miller, and Jacob Miller; aunt Tiffany Bell; uncle Willi Earl Bell; cousin Maverick Bell; uncle Kevin Ofor; cousins Kayli Ofor, Ava Ofor, Jade Ofor, Kiani Mena, and Chief Ofor; uncle Christian Nwosu; cousins Jazariah Nwosu, Chris Nwosu, and Irie Nwosu; and her brother.
Hannah also leaves behind maternal grandparents Regina Carmack and Charles Carmack, and paternal grandparents Abel Jolivette Jr. and Linda Benson Jolivette.
Among those who cherished her are uncle Alvin Benson; aunt Latoya Benson; cousins Van Loui Benson, Savannah Benson, and Alvin Benson Jr. L.A.; uncle Ashton Carter; aunt Tishana Carter; cousins Jose Carter and Lukasz Carter; uncle Charles Lauder; aunt Shanta Lauder; cousins Theophilus Allison, Briaunna Allison, Amber Lauder, Kyle Lauder, and Brooklyn Allison; uncle Robert Jolivette; aunts Charlotte and Tarletha Jolivette; uncles Cory Jolivette and Corey Grant; uncle Abel Jolivette III; cousins Deon Davis, Chadwick Davis, and Jennifer, Justin, and Jordan Barrett; cousin Mia Jones; as well as her cousin Carlisa and her two children.
Hannah was welcomed into eternal rest by her grandfather and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a godparent who will always remember the joy she brought to their lives in life or by spirit.
Hannah’s vibrant spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her, and her memory serves as a reminder of the love.
