It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jarrod Sorrell Davis, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on April 21, 1988, in Littlefield, Texas, Jarrod touched many during his time with us, sharing laughter, love, and strength that will be deeply missed. He departed this world on November 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and resilience.
Jarrod was a dedicated business owner of JJ's Covered Solutions, where he poured his heart and soul into his work. His entrepreneurial spirit inspired those around him, and he took great pride in providing for his family and serving his community. His work ethic was matched only by his unwavering commitment to his loved ones, proving that family always came first in his life.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Britney Raquel Davis, who was his rock and partner in all things. Together, they created a beautiful family, including his wonderful children, Kameron and Aiyana Davis. Jarrod relished every moment spent with them, celebrating milestones and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Jarrod's warmth and compassion extended beyond his immediate family. He was a beloved son to Denisa Lee Wheeler-Davis and Jerome Davis, and a supportive brother to Jamal, De'Andrea, Jerome Jr., and Joseph Hancock. His siblings and their families included Dalyn Blotz, Hillary Hancock, Freda Timmons, Marquetta Lewis, Henrietta, and Deandre Dixon, each of whom held a special place in Jarrod’s heart. He was also an adored uncle to his many nieces and nephews: Christopher Parker, Kendall Dollard, Kannon Davis, Draymond Crawford, Jaeda White, Josiah Crawford, Gavin Davis, Savannah Hancock, Cheyenne Hancock, Colton White, Amir Roberson, Greyson Roberson, Kaiden Walker, Khalil Walker, Skylar Dixon, and Sage Dixon.
Jarrod's ties to family were anchored further by his aunts and uncles, including the nurturing presence of Felecia and Donett Logan, Brandi and Angela Wheeler, Brenda Hudspeth, Melba and Llew McIntyre, Barbara Williams, Faye Wright Jackson, Ardis and Peggy Davis, and Johnnie Davis. Lovingly, Father & Mother-in-Law Mark &Shonda Lewis. Each of them contributed to the tapestry of his life in profound ways.
Though a vast circle of loving family survives him, Jarrod now joins those who have passed before him, including his cherished grandparents Bobby Jean and AJ Davis, and Louise and Sera Wheeler, as well as his uncle Larry Wright. Their memories, woven into the fabric of his life, will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
As we say goodbye to Jarrod, we celebrate the man he was—a devoted husband, a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and a steadfast friend. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, a reminder of the beauty of family ties and the importance of cherishing every moment together. He will be deeply missed, but forever cherished, leaving an indelible mark on the lives he touched.
