John Lee Domanutha Franklin-Culberson, 63 years of age, Born on August 30, 1959 to Erma (Johnson) Franklin and Father Earnest Franklin, as their youngest child in Knox City, Texas transitioned from this life on March 20, 2023 in Harris County, Texas. Receiving public school education in Lubbock, Texas from the Wyndham Independent School District. In his time spent throughout his adult life he enjoyed family and friends gatherings, and traveling.

Preceded In Death By his Mother; Erma (Johnson) Franklin; Father Earnest Franklin; Brother Earnest Franklin, Jr.; Brother In Law Mike Manuel. Those Left to Cherish his Memories are his Brothers; Grady Floyd Lewis, Wallace (Linda) Franklin, James (Claudia) Culberson. Sisters; Mary Manuel, Coronica (Hayward) Culberson Cooper. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

1 Thessalonians 4:13-15

13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.
