Linda Kaye Heth, 69, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on July 14, 2023. Linda was born on August 9, 1953, in Greenville, South Carolina, to Maynard and Bobbie Heth.

As the daughter of an Air Force officer, Linda found home wherever her heart and family were. She was creative and lively, known for her quick wit and free-spirited nature. Linda had a caring heart and a deep love for animals, which she expressed by bringing home every stray animal she encountered.

Linda will be remembered as a loving and loyal daughter, sister, aunt, partner, and friend. She is survived by her partner of 24 years, Graham Everett, as well as her parents, Maynard and Bobbie Heth, her sisters Karen Heth De Hoyos and Lou Anne Heth Carson, along with their respective spouses, Juan De Hoyos and Bill Carson. Linda also leaves behind her niece, Johanna Urquhart, her nephew Nathan Thurman, and a host of cousins and long-time friends who will cherish her memory. She also leaves behind her two beloved dogs, Tashi and EJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to your local animal shelter or ASPCA. These organizations were close to Linda’s heart, and donations made in her memory will honor her love for animals.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her vibrant spirit and warm presence will forever live in our hearts.
