Rickey Wing Ford Washington Jr

Born on April 12, 2005, in the vibrant heart of Houston, Texas, Rickey Wing Ford Washington Jr. graced this world with his warm spirit until his untimely departure on November 22, 2025. He was the cherished son of LaToya Jackson and Rickey Washington, Sr, who instilled in him a deep love for God and family.

Rickey was a faithful member of the Second Church of Christ in Houston, where he found strength and community. He embraced his role as a devoted father to two wonderful boys, A'Mari and Lamar, who were his pride and joy. Rickey's commitment to family and friendship reflected his nurturing character, embodying the love and connection that he valued deeply.

A former student of the Houston Independent School District, Rickey displayed an unwavering work ethic as a hardworking customer service professional, always ready to help others with a smile. His infectious laughter and kind heart endeared him to many, making each interaction memorable.

Though Rickey's journey was shortened, he leaves behind a legacy of love. He is preceded in death by his treasured maternal grandparents, Patricia and Gilbert Edwards, Len Jackson, his paternal grandmother Carolyn Washington, along with his beloved aunt Latrivia James, cousin Kashala Francis, and sister Sylvia Washington.

Rickey’s memory will forever be cherished by his two beloved boys, A'Mari Washington and Lamar Washington. His loving mother, LaToya (Christopher Johnson) Jackson; his father, Rickey (LaKeysha) Washington Sr.; and his siblings—Tatyana Jackson, Tanequa Jackson, Robert Washington, Rikki Washington, Carolyn Washington, Miracle Washington, and Kiana Washington—will carry his spirit as they navigate life without him. Additionally, his cousins and a host of other family members and friends who adored him will keep his memory alive.
