Tracey will be remembered for her endless resilience and unending love and devotion to her sons: Nathan, Tyrell, Trayvon, Isaiah, and Shamell. She is also survived by her 4 granddaughters Harper, Alayna, Areyah, and Nova. Tracey dedicated her life to nursing and loved it passionately. She was a woman who always cheered for the underdog and never hesitated to help someone in need, even at times when she didn’t have much to give. In her free time, you could find her singing karaoke in her room. A couple of her favorites were “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac and “Heart like a Truck” by Lainey Wilson. She adored spending time with her sons no matter what they were doing and always welcomed all their friends with open arms. To say she had many “adopted” kids would be an understatement. We will never forget the laughter, the tears, the joy, and the pain we shared with her. Tracey’s memory will remain forever etched in our hearts and minds. As time passes, her spirit will continue to live on in every life she touched. Tracey is preceded in death by her lovely parents Donald Douglas Smith and Patricia Joan Smith whom we all know in our hearts, greeted her at heavens door.
